About

I am Daleyna Abril, a writer and editor of multimedia. I hold a Bachelor’s of Arts in Writing and English from the University of Tampa, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I also served as Editor-in-Chief of the student-run art and litmag, Neon, and as president of the university’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.

Writing has been my passion since I was a little bookworm. My dream is to write and edit in every medium out there—short stories, novels, poetry, screenplays, play scripts, comics, and more.

I formerly wrote film reviews focused on diversity for Incluvie.com. Our media needs to represent marginalized perspectives across the board, and I hope to facilitate the amplification of underrepresented voices through my own writing and collaboration with others.
